The Bajio Sigs sunglasses are a solid choice for anglers who prioritize technical features without sacrificing style. While they may currently lack strong brand recognition, the Sigs pack a punch in terms of performance and comfort.

My first impression was that they felt slightly heavy compared to my other fishing sunglasses, but I have actually found that I like the feel. They perform admirably in venting which reduces fogging, and the polarization is top notch. My frames are the “Ivory Tort Gloss” which are a super sharp take on the traditional brown-and-black tortoise shell frames.

The lenses offer 100% UV protection, shielding your eyes from harmful rays. They included the patent-pending blue-light-blocking LAPIS™ technology that keeps bad light out and reduces eye strain. The lenses also repel water, sweat, and oils, keeping your vision clear in various conditions.

The Sigs also have Bajio’s (pronounced bah-hee-o) proprietary Sun LedgeTM which is a hidden ledge incorporated into the upper part of the frame that blocks sunlight from entering the glasses through the gap between your head and the sunglasses. It's particularly useful for full-wrap sunglasses (which these are) that offer side protection but might leave some room for sunlight to sneak in from the top. So, the Sun Ledge essentially completes the sun protection offered by the sunglasses, especially when you're looking up or facing direct sunlight.

In terms of performance, the Bajio Sigs deliver exceptional clarity and color enhancement. Whether you're spotting fish beneath the surface or the hike to your spot, allowing you to see more fish with less strain.

My test pair were violet mirror glass lenses with the ivory tort gloss frames (shown here).

They offer a good balance of features, performance, and style for the price point. Whether you're out on the water or exploring new trails, the Bajio Sigs are built to elevate your experience.
